- Insulation Transformer
One three-phase insulation transformer suitably protected in metal housing with proper ventilation is installed in the engine room to allow the electrical connection of the motor yacht to the shore power.
A visual display shows the correct connections of all the phases to the shore power and an additional manual device allows the change and the rotation of the phases in case they are not aligned with the system on board.
All values of voltage and power supplied by the various energy sources are displayed both on analogue gauges on the main switchboard in the engine room and in the digital pages of the bridge monitoring panel.
The insulated transformer has the following characteristics:
Power: 90 kVA, 50Hz, 380VAC/220V.
- Air conditioning
One heating and refrigerating centralized unit of type with circulation of thermically treated water with units in each accommodation (fan-coils) is installed on board.
In summer, the water is cooled through condensation of the refrigerant, obtained through circulation of sea water in shell and tube condensers.
In order to guarantee an adequate cooling and heating on board, the air conditioning unit installed on board is Reverse Cycle type.

- Windlass:
Two electric windlasses of vertical type are located in the bow of the main deck on a basement made of polished stainless steel
- Warping winches:
Two vertical and electrically powered warping winches are installed aft on the main deck on the starboard and port side, in a slightly higher position in order to facilitate the mooring maneuverings.
- Anchors and Chains:
Two anchors of suitable weight, dimensions and characteristics are supplied and installed according to the tonnage of the vessel. Material: galvanized steel.
- Hawsepipes:
The anchors’ hawsepipes and the hawse pipes are made of mirror polished stainless steel.
- Chain Locker:
The chains are entirely housed inside the chain’s locker.
- Cleats
All mooring cleats are made of stainless steel and are properly fixed to the main deck.
Fairleads
The forward and aft fairleads are made of polished stainless steel, fastened to the bulwark and equipped with suitable reinforcements.
The midship’s fairleads have a cleat of suitable dimensions located inside and proportionated to the mooring rope.
-Aft Gangway
A telescopic electro-hydraulic gangway or equivalent is installed inside the transom, totally built-in in order to allow an easy and safe board access from the quay with the moored ship.
The stern gangway has the following characteristics:
- Control Panel, water proof type fixed close to the stern bulwark and located near the gangway
- Remote Control for the operation of the gangway from the quay
- Stainless-steel structure with teak grill platform
- Stainless-steel removable holdings on both sides (handrails)
- Suitable length to allow people to get on and get off with the ship berthed at a distance of approximately 1.5 mt from the quay.
- Suitable width to allow the installation inside the external stairs of the aft platform.

- Swimming Platform and two (2) Garages:
The swimming platform is made of fibreglass is covered with longitudinal teak staves like on the main deck.
An external shower point with cold and warm water is located in an easy and accessible place.
Two small bollards designed for tender mooring are located on starboard and port side of the platform.
An electro hydraulically operated hatch integrated in the aft transom allows access from the swimming platform to the aft garage. A transverse garage for the housing of a 6.20-metre tender approx. is located under the main deck on the fore of the engine room.
- Swimming Ladder:
An electro-hydraulic swimming ladder is located inside the aft platform totally built-in.
The swimming ladder has the following characteristics:
- Control panel located close to the aft transom.
- Stainless-steel structure and teak steps
- Suitable length to allow an easy walk-up of a person from the sea
- Suitable width to allow an easy usage of the ladder
- Mooring Lines:
N. 2 aft mooring lines with splice, chain and thimble
N. 2 fore mooring lines with splice
N. 1 long towing line
- Aft Lockers:
Two small storages to recover ropes and other materials are located on the Main Deck on both aft sides inside the bulwark.
On the top of these storages, the following items are installed: mooring cleats, fairleads, warping winches for ship’s manoeuvring.
The two storages can be closed with two upper doors.
- Vessel Name:
The ship’s name and the Port of Registry are fixed on the aft transom.
- Deck Covers:
PVC protection covers are supplied in order to cover all the furniture, equipment and apparatuses installed on open decks exposed to weather conditions. All the covers are white colour.
- Safety Equipment:
The ship’s safety equipment installed on board are approved type in compliance with the requests of the Classification Society and Flag Administration.All the safety equipment is properly fixed and marked with symbols to facilitate their use in case of emergency. The inflatable life rafts are installed on the sun deck and are compliant with the rules.
- Fire-fighting Equipment:
The main fire system is fed by sea water and consists of a high delivery electro pump, UNI 45 fire hoses and related nozzles. Each area on board is equipped with chemical powder extinguishers or CO2 extinguishers depending on the place where they are intended to be used.
- Horn:
An audible warning device of electronic type compliant with the internal Regulations is installed on the signal mast.
- Searchlight:
One adjustable searchlight is installed on the mast and is provided with control panel on the helm stations.
